Interested in Scouting?

Join the adventure and bring your child along to the hall to discover the fun, friendship, and excitement Scouting has to offer.

How can my child try Scouting?

All you need to do is bring your child along to a weekly meeting for the relevant section—Joeys, Cubs, or Scouts. Please contact our Group Leader, Mark Bussing, via the contact form to arrange a visit or find out more.

Your child can try Scouting for free for up to four weeks, giving them the chance to experience a range of activities before deciding if they’d like to join.

Joey Scouts            5 – 8 years         Wednesdays, 6 pm – 7 pm

Cub Scouts             8 – 11 years       Wednesdays, 7.10 pm – 8.30 pm

What Should They Wear?

Comfortable, casual clothing is best for trying out Scouting. Once your child decides to join, they will need to wear a uniform. For safety, thongs, sandals, ballet flats, and Crocs are not permitted.

What if Scouting Isn't for Them?

We recommend letting your child try Scouting for a few weeks. If they decide it’s not for them, just let us know—there’s no obligation to join after giving it a go.
